Complete STEP Transfer Intent Form

You can access the STEP Transfer Intent Form by logging into the myCTstate portal and completing the link on the “Do you Plan to Transfer?” tile. The form should take 1-2 minutes to complete.

A transfer representative from your transfer institution will contact you to answer questions about your planned area of study and anything else you want to know.

Why should I participate in STEP?

By enrolling in STEP, you will receive personalized support and connect with resources to keep you on track to transfer to Central, Eastern, Southern, Western, or Charter Oak. 

How do I enroll in STEP?

Signing up for STEP is easy! Complete the STEP Transfer Intent Form and you will be contacted with next steps. 

What benefits do I receive by participating in STEP?

If you select Central, Eastern, Southern, Western, or Charter Oak as your primary destination we will:

  • Share your information with the school you selected above
  • Send personalized communication from your primary transfer destination informing you of options for pre-transfer advising or upcoming transfer events.
  • Share academic records, reducing what you may need to resubmit when you transfer
How do I access the STEP Transfer Intent Form?

The STEP Transfer Intent Form is located in your  myCTstate account. Look for the “CSCU Plan to Transfer” tile.  complete.

When should I enroll?

Students should complete the STEP Transfer Intent Form prior to earning 30 credits. 

Now You Are Ready To Take the Next STEPs
  • Complete the STEP Transfer Intent Form
  • Connect with your transfer institution
  • Meet with your Guided Pathways Advisor (GPA) to make a plan
  • Check-in with your GPA and transfer destination to stay on track
  • Graduate with an associate degree
  • Transfer to Central, Eastern, Southern, Western, or Charter Oak and finish with your bachelor’s degree.
