Powered by Ellucian's Banner enterprise system, the Business Information Systems department maintains and provides development support for the Student Information System, including admissions, financial aid, scheduling, registration, billing and refunds, grading and reporting. It also maintains and supports the Finance System, which includes accounting, purchasing, payables, capital investments and inventory, and mandatory reporting.

Learning Management System

Powered by Blackboard, the LMS allows faculty to create and deliver instructional content, monitor student participation and assess student performance.

myCommnet Portal

A web resource that delivers direct access to courseware, registration, library resources and more for the Connecticut Community Colleges.

Institutional Research

Powered by Evisions Argos, the BIS group develops and maintains a data warehouse reporting system that provides the Board of Regents Institutional Research group the raw data to analyze trends in the academic data.

Web Conferencing

Powered by Cisco WebEx, the web conferencing tool allows for real-time communication to conduct meetings, seminars, training and technical support remotely for the CSCU staff.

CSCU Training

Onsite and online workshop opportunities for staff and faculty within the CSCU system.

Library Discovery

A web resource to search and discover materials available within the libraries of the CSCU system.
